General Assembly Begins Deliberations on Secretary General's Report From April 6 - 8, the General Assembly will hold informal consultations of the plenary discussing the recommendations for UN reform contained in the Secretary-General's report 'In larger freedom'. |
Beginning Wednesday April 6th, the General Assembly will hold informal consultations discussing the recommendations for UN reform contained in the Secretary-General's report 'In larger freedom' (PDF). The informal consultations on the report as a whole are scheduled until April 8th, followed by thematic consultations from April 19th to 28th.
The thematic consultations will be structured according to the four clusters of issues corresponding to the four parts of the SG's report:
